Titans Issue Interesting Derrick Henry Health Update
The Titans issued an interesting Derrick Henry health update.
Tennessee opted to sit their running back out last week, but he should be back this weekend to take on the Houston Texans.
Henry has been dealing with a hamstring injury for the past month. Since last week’s outing had zero impact on the team’s postseason chances, there was no reason to risk him getting hurt again.
This week, though, the Titans are facing a must-win scenario. Thus, barring something unforeseen happening, it looks like the former second round pick will be active.
According to team reporter Jim Wyatt, Henry participated in practice on Tuesday.
The @Titans had a scaled back walk-through practice today. Only the stretch period was open. The only player not on field in uniform: Kalif Raymond.
Everyone else was present, including Adoree’ Jackson, Adam Humphries, Corey Davis, Derrick Henry, Jeffery Simmons & Daren Bates

Over the course of 14 games with the Titans Henry has recorded 271 carries for 1,329 yards and 13 scores.
Any time he plays, Tennessee’s offense looks significantly better than when he is off the field.
A final decision on Henry’s playing status should be made a little closer to gameday.
