Texans Issue Unexpected Health Update Before Chiefs Game

The Texans issued an unexpected health update before the Chiefs game.

Heading into Sunday’s showdown between Houston and Kansas City, the latter team seems to be an overwhelming favorite.

Part of that has to do with Patrick Mahomes’ general dominance over the past two seasons. Some of it has to due with the fact that the Texans came very close to losing to the Buffalo Bills last week.

Either way, most people agree that the only way Houston wins this one is if everything goes their way.

Well, one thing is definitely going their way already.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, wide receiver Will Fuller will be in action on Sunday.

Fuller has been battling groin and hamstring injuries all year long. To date, he has missed five outings. But he will be back for this one.

With Fuller back in the fold, Deshaun Watson will have one of his most potent playmakers back. Between Fuller, DeAndre Hopkins, Kenny Stills and Duke Johnson, Houston may just have enough offensive tricks up their sleeves to catch Kansas City off guard.

Are the Chiefs the favorites either way? Absolutely. Does the game suddenly become much more interesting if Fuller is ready to go? No question about it.
