Steelers Reveal Week 17 Quarterback Starter
The Steelers revealed their Week 17 quarterback starter on Monday.
Heading into an absolutely crucial outing next week that may determine their postseason fate, Pittsburgh will line Devlin Hodges up at quarterback.
This is a bit problematic given that the team just benched Hodges this past weekend for poor play.
Hodges has recorded six picks in his last two starts and does not have a single outing on record this year with multiple touchdown passes.
The Steelers brought Mason Rudolph in on Sunday to help dig them out of the hole Hodges dug them into against the New York Jets.
Unfortunately, they still feel to the Jets 16-10.
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Rudolph will likely miss this weekend’s looming showdown against the Baltimore Ravens due to a left shoulder injury.
Steelers’ QB Mason Rudolph is expected to miss Sunday’s game against Baltimore with a left shoulder injury, per league sources. So it’s Devlin Hodges as starter and Paxton Lynch as backup.

That means Hodges gets the start, with Paxton Lynch backing him up.
Will Pittsburgh be able to get it together and somehow against all odds earn a spot in the playoffs? We’ll find out once and for all in just a few days.
