Patrick Mahomes’ dad had himself a fun night ahead of his son’s Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
Heading into this week’s big showdown, the big question was whether any of Mahomes’ receivers would step up and make life easier for him against one of the league’s toughest defenses.
The answer presented itself quite quickly: no.
Obviously, Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s big drop at the end of the game was the big story coming out of the Chiefs’ loss, but it was really emblematic of what the team’s wide receiving group brought to the table all night. And frankly, all season.
Aside from Mahomes having no one to throw to, the other big story of the evening was his dad getting frisky with some blonde Eagles fan before the game.

In a busy NFL weekend that saw Sam Ponder get called out for wearing a scandalous outfit on ESPN and Trevor Lawrence’s wife put his name on her crotch, it is pretty telling that Mahomes’ dad stole the headlines in this fashion.
It was that classic of a video.

It will be interesting to see how all parties involved bounce back from this.
Can the Chiefs get their season back on track next week? Time will tell.
