New Video Confirms Jets Cheated To Beat Bills
A new video from Monday night’s memorable game between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills confirms that the former cheated to beat the latter.
Following a topsy-turvy four quarters of action, overtime was needed at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to determine a winner.
With a little over nine minutes remaining in the extra period and the score knotted at 16, undrafted rookie Xavier Gipson won the game for New York with a 65-yard walk-off punt return.

It was a beautiful moment for many given that the Jets had just suffered a catastrophic injury to Aaron Rodgers on the first series of the game. They needed this win.
The fact that Gipson was also featured on ‘Hard Knocks’ in particularly endearing fashion not long ago also made the whole thing feel really special.

There was just one problem – alternate angles of the play confirmed that the Jets cheated to beat the Bills.
In a replay, it can be seen quite clearly that Jets linebacker Chazz Surratt got away with an illegal tripping for a leg move he used on Buffalo’s Quintin Morris.
“You’ve gotta put an asterisk on it because there’s a tripping call that was not made. A trip, a leg whip, right near the 23-yard line, No. 55, which would have brought the touchdown back.”

Obviously had that been called New York would have been in solid position for a field goal, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it would have gone in. Anything could have happened at that point – particularly given how crazy the night had been already.
In an insane NFL week that saw Sam Ponder go viral over her wild outfit on ESPN and Kay Adams blow up over her video with Daniel Jones, nobody thought Monday’s game could top Sunday’s sleight.

But somehow New York and Buffalo managed to surpass even what occurred one day prior.
Will the Bills be able to get over getting cheated against the Jets as the season progresses? Or will this particular loss have serious ramifications for their 2023-24 NFL campaign? One way or another, time will tell.
