Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his girlfriend Christen Harper have had a very busy year.
As a couple, they got engaged – which is obviously a huge milestone.
Individually, Goff played his first season with the Lions in 2021-22 to mixed results.
Harper, meanwhile, became a viral sensation over her Sports Illustrated photo shoot and popular Instagram account. These days, she boasts more than 433,000 followers on the platform and routinely sets the internet ablaze.
A new photo she debuted this week was the perfect representation of the sort of reach she has:

Despite being up for only a day, Harper’s post already has amassed more than 20,000 likes.
It goes without saying that Harper frequently sets the web on fire. Her provocative video from a few weeks ago went mega-viral, as did her other many scandalous posts.

Harper is a model fitted for a star quarterback boyfriend. The question is whether Goff can be that star quarterback.
Last season he struggled at times to fit in with the Lions’ scheme and then had to watch as the Los Angeles Rams immediately won a Super Bowl as soon as they replaced him with Matthew Stafford.
That said, it wasn’t all bad news for Goff.
In his last four outings he recorded 965 yards, nine touchdowns and just two picks with a 103.3 passer rating. If he can keep that going for the span of an entire season, the Lions would actually be pretty good from an offensive standpoint.
Consistency has always been an issue for Goff.

In 2021-22, he amassed 3,245 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Will Goff be able to do better in 2022-23? Is this going to be the year he and Harper step forward as a legitimate power couple in the NFL?
