Gisele Bundchen celebrated her first birthday without now ex-husband Tom Brady this week.

Bundchen, 43, is an internationally renowned model and fashion icon who has gone through a lot of changes over the past 12 months.

In addition to splitting from Brady in a particularly ugly divorce, the pair also lost a lot of money in the FTX collapse and has had to do it all under the scrutiny of millions of prying eyes.

This week, Bundchen threw an intimate little boat party with family to celebrate turning 43.

Notably absent, for obvious reasons, was Brady.

Bundchen has been something of a mainstay in the headlines over the past few months. Between her being linked to a new man, her wild dance video going viral and her recent workout photos causing a major stir, she has been a permanent fixture in the news cycle.

She is that level of international celebrity, though. Anything she does turns to front page news.

Big picture, Bundchen clearly went through a lot of stuff over the past year.

Major life changes on top of major life changes.

That happens sometimes.

Will Bundchen’s 43rd year prove to be calmer than her 42nd one was? Time will tell, but either way, hopefully she and Brady can foster a healthy relationship going forward that allows both parties to proceed through life in a fulfilling and balanced way.
