Did Refs Blatantly Help Packers Cheat Against Titans? (Video)
The Green Bay Packers defeated the Tennessee Titans 40-14 on Sunday night. Unfortunately, an otherwise dominant victory did not come without controversy.
Green Bay was up 19-14 in the third quarter and had a 1st-and-10 at their 34. Running back Aaron Jones took the handoff and rushed 59 yards to the Titans 7.
There was just one problem: Jones very clearly stepped out early in the run, in plain sight of an official, and was permitted to keep going.
Tennessee misses a challenge on this Aaron Jones run – and it’s a big one.

Botched calls happen, obviously, but a ref was literally standing right there.
Plus, this wasn’t the only call that went against the Titans on Sunday.
A successfully blocked punt by Tennessee was negated by an official when he decided that an offsides penalty occurred, even though no such penalty actually occurred.

With this loss, Tennessee failed to clinch its first AFC South championship since 2008.
That said, the Titans still can claim a division title by beating the Houston Texans next week.
