Brittany Mahomes’ outfit to the Kansas City Chiefs’ Thursday night game against the Detroit Lions went viral this week.
Heading into the first regular season NFL showdown of the year, many wondered if Jared Goff and Co. would be able to take advantage of Patrick Mahomes being without his best weapon, Travis Kelce.
When it was all said and done – the answers proved to be ‘yes.’
Despite 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 21-of-39 passing from their star quarterback, the Chiefs ultimately fell 21-20 in the inaugural game of the 2023-24 NFL season.
While the defending champs losing their first outing was obviously the big story coming out of this one, the most viral story of the evening proved to be Brittany’s outfit to the event.
As Patrick’s wife, Brittany is no stranger to being a focal point in the headlines – and that is precisely what ended up happening Thursday night as well.
Brittany’s outfit to the Lions game went mega-viral.
Coming into the game, a Lions cheerleader’s wild personal photos leaking out set the internet ablaze. Ditto for a group of Chiefs cheerleaders’ wild photos coming out. But neither was as big of a story as Brittany’s choice of outfit to the game.
It goes without saying that this isn’t the first time in recent weeks that Brittany found herself trending. Between her provocative boat party photos, wild birthday party pictures and intimate date night snaps with Patrick, she has been a permanent mainstay in the news cycle.

And with the Chiefs’ 2023-24 campaign just getting started, it feels like a safe bet that Brittany will continue to hold a prominent position in the headlines going forward.
What will Brittany ultimately go viral for next as the season chugs along? Time will tell.
