Brittany Mahomes’ outfit to this weekend’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots successfully stole the spotlight from Taylor Swift.
It goes without saying that over the past couple of months, Brittany has been downgraded in the hierarchy of Chiefs wives and girlfriends.
As one point, as the wife of team star Patrick Mahomes, she was the franchise’s unofficial First Lady. And frankly, ever since Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s untimely split, she has kind of ruled over the entire NFL in that capacity.
When Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce began dating Swift, however – that changed.
Brittany was ultimately relegated to a supporting cast player at that point. This week she decided to change that.
In what was clearly an effort to steal the spotlight from Swift, Brittany opted to wear this particular outfit to the game:
Shortly after Brittany posted the photos to social media, fans came back with some strong reactions:

If it feels like Brittany has been in the headlines a lot over the past few months, it is because she definitely has been. Between her provocative holiday party photos, wild workout pictures and intimate date night snaps with Patrick, it has been one thing after another with her.
Plus, Brittany’s relationship with Swift has been under intense scrutiny. Just last week, a report emerged that the pair might be low-key beefing over one of Brittany’s more unfortunate tendencies.
