Jacksonville Jaguars, Gruden Discussing Possible Deal
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Jay Gruden are discussing a possible deal.
Last week, the Jaguars abruptly parted ways with John DeFilippo.
The team now has a vacancy at offensive coordinator that needs filling, and Gruden appears to be at the top of the list of possible candidates.
According to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, Gruden will interview with Jacksonville this week.

Gruden is fresh off being fired after spending six seasons with the Washington Redskins. The organization cut ties with him after a horrendous 0-5 beginning to the 2019 season.
Before becoming the head coach at Washington, he was the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Gruden has made it no secret that he was seeking an NFL return, but before the Jaguars came along, nobody seemed all that interested.
The only real other contender for his services appeared to be Jon Gruden’s Oakland Raiders.
Last season, the Jaguars ranked 26th in the league in scoring. A change at the offensive coordinator position was desperately needed. Whether Gruden is the right man for the job is obviously a matter of personal opinion, though.
