Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had something of a rough 2023-24 NFL campaign.
While he experienced a mild uptick in yards and touchdowns from the prior season, he also threw a career-high in interceptions.
In addition to on-the-field stuff, Hurts also found himself trending nonstop for off-the-field matters as well. Between the blonde fan whose sign for him went viral at a game and his secret girlfriend’s leaked photos causing a stir, it was just one thing after another.
This week Hurts found himself trending once more, this time for something he did to his face. Specifically, fans couldn’t help but notice how different he looked after shaving:

Big picture, Hurts needs a bounce back effort when the 2024-25 season commences. Folks were really high on him heading into last season and he definitely let people down.
“Despite the inconsistencies of the past few seasons with the Eagles, it’s essential to remember that Hurts is only 25 years old,” Sports Illustrated wrote this past week.

“Remarkably, this young quarterback has shown promise on the field while steering clear of any off-field drama. Given his potential and work ethic, any team with cap space and a quarterback vacancy would undoubtedly jump at the opportunity to sign Hurts to their roster.”

The coming season will be deeply telling not only regarding Hurts’ ceiling, but the Eagles’ as well.
Will 2025 mark the year that Hurts and the Eagles claw their way to the top of the NFL mountain? Time will tell.
