Chiefs vs 49ers Score Prediction Released By ESPN
A Chiefs vs 49ers score prediction was released by ESPN on Sunday.
Just hours removed from Super Bowl LIV, the worldwide leader in sports gave its final prognostication for today’s outing.
ESPN NFL insider and analyst Bill Barnwell took a close look at both Kansas City and San Francisco, and ultimately came to a conclusion.
In his opinion, the Niners will prevail.
“The Chiefs have been able to overcome sloppy play on defense and special teams by scoring at an astronomical, unsustainable rate on offense, even by Mahomes’ incredible standards,” he wrote.
“The 49ers won’t shut down Mahomes, and I would be worried about a fourth-quarter comeback if the 49ers are winning once the pass rush begins to tire and Reid finds a weakness, but this is the best defense Mahomes has faced during the postseason by a considerable margin,” he continued.
“The 49ers should be better along the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in this game, and that has won football games for a century now… 49ers 27, Chiefs 23.”
Will ESPN’s prediction ultimately be proven correct? We’re just a few hours away from finding out.
Super Bowl LIV takes place from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, at 3:30 pm PT.
