Carolina Panthers Make Surprising Coaching Change
The Carolina Panthers made a surprising coaching change on Monday.
It has been a big year for the Panthers.
Prior to the end of the regular season, the organization decided to part ways with Ron Rivera after a decade together.
Then the team went out and hired highly sought-after Baylor coach Matt Rhule.
Shortly thereafter, Rhule brought in LSU offensive guru Joe Brady to be his offensive coordinator.
It has been one thing after another for the Panthers.

This week, Rhule decided to switch things up a bit.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Rhule is moving running backs coach Jake Peetz to quarterbacks coach.
Peetz was the running backs coach for Carolina this past season but has had significantly more experience with passers.
From being a quarterback at Nebraska to serving as an assistant for Nick Saban’s Alabama teams twice over the past decade, Peetz is one of the brighter minds as it pertains to quarterback play in the league.
Peetz will report to Brady, it would appear.
Beyond the Peetz move, Carolina is also hiring Brian Angelichio as the team’s tight ends coach. He previously worked with the Washington Redskins in that capacity.
