Ben Roethlisberger Is Best Quarterback In Steelers History, Says Legend
Ben Roethlisberger is the best quarterback in Pittsburgh Steelers history, says at least one franchise legend.
Current Fox Sports analyst and former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw recently spoke out about who in his estimation is the best passer in team history.
His answer?
Roethlisberger.
While appearing on 93.7 The Fan, Bradshaw was asked that very question. He didn’t even hesitate.
“I would give it to Ben,” Bradshaw said.
“His numbers far exceed mine. I may have more Super Bowls, but he is a much better quarterback.
“I wasn’t bad in my era, but he’s big, strong, accurate, puts up monstrous numbers, and he’s won two Super Bowls. I pass that baton to him gladly. I absolutely have no problem with that. He deserves it.”
Roethlisberger’s track record is pretty clear, so it’s hard to argue with Bradshaw’s assessment.
