49ers Fans Angry Over Missed Call Against Chiefs In Super Bowl
49ers fans are angry over a missed call against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
Heading into Sunday’s game, the big question was whether San Francisco’s potent defense would be able to stop Kansas City’s insane offensive attack.
The answer: no.
The Chiefs ultimately emerged from the outing victorious, pulling off a 30-21 win.
One particularly sequence of events has really ticked off Kansas City fans, though.

Late in the game, with the Niners down 24-20, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo clearly let the play clock expire before getting a play off.
It was a fourth-and-ten so when the ball was snapped and there was no whistle, Garoppolo couldn’t get the ball away and was sacked by Frank Clark.
That pretty much sealed the outing.
What should have happened is the ball should have been whistled dead when the Niners did not get the play off in time.
From there, San Francisco should have gotten a five-yard penalty and the opportunity to re-play the down.
That did not end up happening.
Would it have mattered? Probably not.
Would San Francisco still have loved the opportunity for a do-over on that particular sequence? Absolutely.
