McKayla Maroney’s Provocative New Dress Goes Viral (Photos)
McKayla Maroney has quietly become arguably the most famous personality to emerge from Team USA Gymnastics over the past decade.
As a key member of the beloved “Fierce Five” squad, she represented well for her country in the 2012 London Olympics.
In addition to taking home gold in the team event and silver in the vault, Maroney also established herself at that time as a popular character in the larger sports and entertainment cultural zeitgeist.
That position has only strengthened over the past decade.
Maroney now boasts more than 1.4 million followers on Instagram and routinely goes viral for her various offerings on the platform.
Case in point, this past week, when she showed off a particularly provocative dress to her adoring followers:

This isn’t the first time in recent weeks Maroney has set the internet ablaze with one of her posts. A racy poolside video she posted not long ago did similarly massive numbers.
In fact, be it her spicy Easter commemoration photos, racy Valentine’s Day pics or extremely provocative video offerings, Maroney is constantly in the news these days.

Big picture, you have to take your hat off to Maroney. She has legitimately carved a career out for herself as a true influencer.
Doing so is not as easy as it may look from the outside. When her ex-teammate Aly Raisman attempted to post provocative content to build a following, the effect was not the same. It just didn’t feel right.

But with Maroney, it comes off as real. Her status will only grow from here on out.
