Danica Patrick’s Provocative Photo Shoot Goes Viral
Danica Patrick is without question the most successful woman to ever compete in open-wheel racing.
In sports lore, her place is etched in stone.
That said, what makes Patrick so unique is that she was able to build on her athletic success and create one of the most durable brands around. Despite having long-since retired, she continues to have more fans around the world than many of her racing counterparts.
To date, Patrick has amassed more than 873,000 followers on Instagram. That means any time she does anything – it immediately goes viral. And it was more of the same this week.
In a post that immediately set the internet ablaze, Patrick posted outtakes from a recent photo shoot she decided to do. The images largely speak for themselves:

As you might expect, fans ate it up:
This isn’t the first time in recent days Patrick has blown up online. Her recent beach day photos caught a lot of people’s attention. Ditto for her now-infamous July 4th dress.
And then of course there are just her standard Instagram posts, which always do massive numbers:

Obviously Patrick can be a bit kooky sometimes. The way she began to identify as a hippie immediately after her ex-boyfriend, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, began dating a witch was odd.
But everyone is a little weird.

By and large, Patrick just comes off as likeable. And that’s why she has amassed such a large fan base.
What will she ultimately go viral for next?
Time will tell.
