Are the New Orleans Saints signing Dez Bryant?

Bryant, a former wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, has been desperately trying to return to the NFL for several years now.

The 31-year-old was a member of the Cowboys from 2010 to 2017, but has not played anywhere since.

Bryant was briefly signed by the Saints in 2018, but ended up injuring his Achilles before ever playing a game for them. He has been out of the league ever since.

This week, Bryant sent out a tweet stating where he wanted to play football next year. He described a desire to “suit up in the blue and silver…the black and gold or black and purple.”

Blue and silver obviously is the color scheme of the Cowboys, black and purple represent the Baltimore Ravens and black and gold would be New Orleans.

To date, none of those teams have expressed any interest in signing Bryant.

That said, if the Saints saw something in him two years ago, odds are that is the best option for him as far as future prospects go.

Will Bryant find himself on an NFL roster in 2020? We’ll find out soon enough.
