New England Patriots Star Arrested
A New England Patriots star was arrested this week.
Julian Edelman, the team’s beloved wide receiver, was apprehended in Beverly Hills on Saturday night after he allegedly went nuts on the hood of someone’s car.
According to TMZ, Edelman stands accused of jumping on the hood of someone’s Mercedes for reasons that have not yet been reported.

Police were already in the area investigating a robbery when someone got their attention and directed them to what Edelman was reportedly doing.
Edelman was arrested and cited for misdemeanor vandalism. He was ultimately released.
Although no reason for Edelman’s actions have yet been given, TMZ notes that officials suspected he was intoxicated.
It will now be up to the Los Angeles Country District Attorney whether they will be proceeding with charges.
Edelman has had something of a rough year.
In addition to his team getting bounced from the playoffs early by the Tennessee Titans, his season was also mired by injuries. He will likely have surgeries to address issues with both his shoulder and knee this summer.
