UConn Star Paige Bueckers’ Explicit Photos, Video Leak Causes A Stir

UConn star Paige Bueckers is widely regarded as one of the greatest college basketball players of all time.

Despite all but being guaranteed a top-two selection in this year’s WNBA Draft, she opted to return to UConn for her 2024-25 season in an effort to win the championship that eluded her this year.

Ahead of the 2024 WNBA Draft, Bueckers found herself trending for something of an unfortunate reason: an unauthorized explicit photo and video leak.

The photos and videos in question, which she claims are AI, show her in very intimate situations. Since dropping they have essentially been scrubbed from the internet. Her supporters have also flooded social media with “Paige Bueckers leak” messages to drown out any damaging posts.

“The devil works hard but God and the people around me work WAY harder. The outpouring of love and support from the WBB community is unreal. Love yall. Support women in sport ALWAYS,” she wrote on social media.

Newly-minted WNBA star, Angel Reese, struck a similar note.

“Protect young women in sports,” she tweeted out.

Reese, of course, is also no stranger to her provocative photos leaking out.

Bueckers, for what it is worth, seems to be taking everything in stride. While the situation isn’t ideal, she has handled it as best as she can.

Next season, with Reese and Caitlin Clark making the jump to the pro level, Bueckers figures to be the face of women’s college basketball.

Will she be able to lead UConn to a National Championship in 2024-25? An answer one way or the other is coming soon enough.
