Stephen Curry’s Reaction To Seeing Wide Open Klay Thompson (Video)
Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors snatched defeat from the jaws of victory on Tuesday night when they fell to the Sacramento Kings 124-123.
This was a game they should have won.
Curry was particularly atrocious late in the outing, ultimately recording five points on 1-of-5 shooting and two turnovers during the fourth quarter.
One sequence that proved to be truly emblematic of not only Curry’s play late in that game, but also the Warriors’ season as a whole, involved what Curry did when he spotted a wide open Klay Thompson:
I don’t understand this. Why didn’t Steph pass this to Klay?!!? pic.twitter.com/4bjHV4Uwle

Yikes.
Fans understandably had some strong reactions to Curry ignoring Thompson like that, particularly given that the latter was actually playing a pretty decent game up to that point. He had 20 points and nine rebounds in 36 minutes of play.
At this point I trust a contested curry three for game rather than a wide open klay

Cause Jordan or Kobe wouldn’t…
Atleast that’s what they say when lebron passes it to open pros for game winners.

This is a “point guard” with a 1:1 ast/to ratio. Y’all should be used to it by now

Big picture, the Warriors have been a mess this season. Thompson is pouting. Curry is rubbing people the wrong way both on and off the court. Draymond Green can’t stop physically attacking his enemies.
Things are bad.

And although Golden State was quick to point to Jordan Poole as the reason for all their woes in 2022, clearly he wasn’t to blame.
The Warriors are 8-10 after 18 games and seem destined to miss the playoffs altogether. Will Curry, Thompson and the rest of the squad be able to get back on the same page before it’s too late? Time will tell.
