Adrian Wojnarowski Reveals Darvin Ham’s Fate If Lakers Lose To Nuggets
The Los Angeles Lakers staved off elimination in their first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets last week, but it is difficult to see a scenario where they overcome their current 3-1 deficit.
Because of that, many have taken to wondering what will happen to head coach Darvin Ham should the Lakers lose Game 5.
This week, ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski revealed how things will likely shake out if the Lakers don’t make it out of the first round.
“If you are a head coach of the Lakers and you get swept in the first round/lose in five, you’ve got job security issues,” he said.

“Darvin Ham will have that. Here’s what the Lakers will have to look at: who’s out there? Budenholzer is the most accomplished coach that’s available,” Wojnarowski continued.
“The Lakers have not shown a willingness to pay for a head coach. If they get swept/lose in 5, it will be part of the conversation.”
At this point Ham is beefing with all his stars. Anthony Davis hates him. LeBron James hates him. Austin Reaves hates him.
And the fans, clearly, hate him.
Will the Lakers do what is necessary and cut ties with Ham this summer? Time will tell.
