Lakers Issue Important Anthony Davis Injury Update
The Lakers issued an important Anthony Davis injury update this week.
This past Tuesday night Los Angeles defeated the New York Knicks in a 117-87 blowout.
The win took them to 30-7 on the season, good for first place in the Western Conference.
Unfortunately, it came at a cost.
MRI results on Lakers star Anthony Davis’ lower back injury returned clean and he plans to travel with team on two-game road trip (Dallas, OKC), league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

Late in the third quarterback, Davis attempted to block Julius Randle’s shot and ended up falling awkwardly on his back. He lay on the ground for roughly a minute while everyone came to check on him.
Eventually Davis walked off the court.
Initial reports indicated that the superstar center would miss LA’s next two road games.
On Wednesday, The Athletic’s NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Davis’ MRI came back “clean” and that he would in fact travel with the Lakers on the road trip.
That is great news for LA.
The Lakers have gone 1-1 in the two games Davis has missed thus far this season.
On the year Davis is averaging 27.7 points and 9.5 rebounds.
