Patrick Beverley, Girlfriend Celebrate After Slandering Chris Paul
Patrick Beverley had himself quite the few days this week after the Phoenix Suns were eliminated from the NBA playoffs.
Less than 24 hours after Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks blew out Phoenix in Game 7 of their Western Conference semifinals showdown, Beverley went on a media rampage.
His chief target? Suns point guard, Chris Paul.
During multiple appearances on ESPN, Beverley attempted to discredit Paul at every turn.
“CP can’t guard nobody man. Everybody in the NBA know that. … He’s a cone. … Give him the Ben Simmons slander.”

“Man, ain’t nobody worried about Chris Paul when you play the Phoenix Suns, nobody in the NBA. … CP can’t guard anybody man. Everybody in the NBA know that,” Beverley said. “You know those cones in the summer that you dribble around? What does the cone do? Nothing. He’s a cone.”
Beverley even found a way to slander Paul while discussing Deandre Ayton’s drama with Suns head coach Monty Williams.

“They benched the wrong person, they should’ve benched Chris,” he continued. “I’m not saying bench him now, once you see they started attacking Chris early, and you know that might become a problem later on, you need to see how that team works without Chris in the game a little bit.”
Incredible stuff.
How did Beverley ultimately celebrate following his multiday spree of just going off on Paul in every possible way?
By spending time with his girlfriend in New York, apparently. Her Instagram post largely speaks for itself:

This isn’t the first time Beverley’s girlfriend, Mandana Bolourchi, has gone viral. She previously did so during the regular season.
With more than 400,000 followers on Instagram, she also frequently makes noise on there as well:

Big picture, it will be interesting to see where Beverley goes from here. Whether he is lobbing absolutely savage grenades at Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Lakers or destroying the Clippers – he is never one to bite his tongue.
Never.
That’s one way to do it.https://t.co/8vaMtiXUGg

Who will he train his sniper on next?
Time will tell.
