NBA Star’s Girlfriend Causes A Stir Due To Age Difference (Photos)
An NBA star’s girlfriend was called out this week over the massive age gap between her and her beau.
Cam Whitmore, a budding star for the Houston Rockets, has often gotten outshined by some of his more well-known NBA counterparts. That is just the way it goes when you are a G-Leaguer trying to break through at the top of level.
That said, everything changed this week.
On Friday, Whitmore and his purported girlfriend Carly Belanger found themselves trending.
To be fair, two things are worth pointing out. One, it is unconfirmed that Belanger is in fact Whitmore’s girlfriend. That is just conjecture. Two, if they are dating, this certainly isn’t the first example of a wide gap in age between athlete and partner.
LaMelo Ball’s very famous girlfriend is also much older than him. Ditto for Aaron Rodgers’ lady, Mallory Edens. And it even occurs in sports-adjacent circles. Larsa Pippen is much older than Marcus Jordan, too.
It happens.
Belanger is a very prominent social media influencer. She blows up routinely for her various posts:

Why is that relevant?
Because it supports the idea that, if she were simply using Whitmore for his budding NBA status, she probably could have found a more famous star.

She is probably more famous than him at this juncture.
Will either Belanger or Whitmore opt to address this speculation about their love lives at some point in the near future? Time will tell.
