Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is one of the league’s more unique personalities.
Between the way he carries himself on the court and the manner in which he conducts himself off it, the 31-year-old’s every move is followed by a legion of fans. There’s a reason him wearing a mysterious shirt some time ago set the internet ablaze.
This week Leonard made headlines once again, this time for his choice of New Balance shoes to a recent Clipper game.
The visual largely speaks for itself:

NBA fans subsequently flocked to social media in the aftermath to weigh on Leonard’s choice of kicks.

Leonard has quietly been showing more and more of his personality as of late. Between the way he went wild at Paul George’s party and his encounter with some women sitting courtside, it has been one thing after another.

This has obviously been something of a frustrating season for Leonard and his squad, but they seem to be heating up at just the right moment. With 13 games left in the regular season, L.A. is just one game back of the fourth-place Phoenix Suns in the West.
Plus, they’re currently riding a three-game winning streak.
Will Leonard be able to guide the Clippers to a championship this season? Time will tell.
