Jrue Holiday Reveals Team USA’s Biggest Trash Talker

Jrue Holiday was an instrumental part of Team USA’s march to a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. While he wasn’t the team’s biggest star, he played a critical role in the machine.

Although Team USA was obviously mired in controversy following the Olympics, with some even wondering whether they would ultimately be stripped, it hasn’t done much to tarnish the squad’s accomplishments in the eyes of American fans.

This week Holiday did an interview where he was presented with an interesting question.

Who was the biggest trash-talker on Team USA?

“Anthony Edwards [is the biggest trash-talker on the team,]” Holiday admitted.

“One hundred percent. One hundred percent. He’s a great player and you see him trash-talking for a very, very long time.”

Fan reaction to Holiday’s revelation was roughly what you would expect.

Everyone seems to agree that Edwards is the future of the NBA. And his performance from last season seems to back that theory up.

Whether or not Edwards will ultimately be able to deliver on all the promise, hype and trash talk remains to be seen, though.
