Summer League 2019 officially commences on July 1 with the California Classic and Utah Jazz Summer League. In total, six games in each league will be played from July 1 to 3, 2019, at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, and Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The first three days of action will feature action from the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors on the California Classic side, and the San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers on the other side.
Although that is obviously interesting for hardcore fans, the real drama as far as summer league goes kicks off on July 5 when the Las Vegas Summer League commences. In total, 83 games will be played from July 5 to 15, 2019, across two venues, the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion, both located in Paradise, Nevada.

The notable rookies that everyone will have their eyes on for this particular session of summer league are obviously RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson who incidentally will square off on opening night Friday before a sold-out crowd, when the New Orleans Pelicans play the New York Knicks.
Beyond that first game between the Knicks and Pelicans, two other outings to keep an eye out for are the Pelicans versus the Chicago Bulls on July 8 and the Washington Wizards against the Atlanta Hawks on July 11. De’Andre Hunter and Coby White, in particular, should be fun to watch in those two ballgames. Unfortunately, fellow Duke Blue Devil star Cam Reddish will be unavailable due to an injury and will not be able to play until the regular season commences.
Last season, a record nearly 140,000 tickets were sold to summer league – with ticket sales nearly doubling over the last four years.
