The Milwaukee Bucks were blown out by the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night 130-111.
Coming into the 2023-24 NBA season, Milwaukee’s acquisition of Damian Lillard was viewed by many as the signature move that would elevate them to legitimate championship contender status.
Thus far, however, the Bucks are 2-2 and look like they will need some time to get their new rhythm down.
Adding insult to injury, not only did Milwaukee lose on Wednesday night, the team was also embarrassed in more ways than one.
In addition to getting blown out, a Bucks star appeared to have a bit of an accident during the game.
NBA fans, always a vocal bunch, had some strong reactions to the visual.

This has been a rough few months for the Bucks. Between losing Jrue Holiday and the way his wife called the organization out over it, the Lillard acquisition not paying immediate dividends, and Brook Lopez seemingly having an accident four games into the year – things aren’t looking great right now.
Plus, Lillard is dealing with a bevy of off-the-court issues stemming from his ugly divorce. Between the demands he has made of his soon-to-be ex-wife and the ugly allegations she has made against him, that whole sordid drama is taking a turn for the worse.

It will be interesting to see how the Bucks ultimately deal with all this.
Will they be able to rally over the next few months and deliver another title to Milwaukee by the time everything is said and done? Time will tell.
