Anthony Davis Reveals Why Lakers Players Get Mad At Dalton Knecht
Los Angeles Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht has been one of the most fun-to-watch first-year players in the league this year.
While he isn’t in the Rookie of the Year conversation in the way that Zach Edey and Jaylen Wells are, he has shown flashes of being precisely the sort of player that the Lakers have desperately needed for years.
This week, Anthony Davis spoke out about Knecht and revealed why the rookie’s Lakers teammates sometimes get frustrated with him.

“That’s why we get so frustrated and upset when he doesn’t shoot. He’s a great player. He can defend, he can shoot, he can put it on the floor, he can pass.
“So, he can do it all but when he have his stretches where he gets hot, it’s a big boost for our team and we are able to feed off that energy and most of the time we make a run off of him.”
Lakers coach J.J. Redick previously said something similar.
“DK, every action you’re in, you’re coming up to score. Get out a shot, come on, man,” he said.
