NBA Rumors: Chris Paul To Be Traded To Bucks, Timberwolves Or Heat

Chris Paul, 34, is a nine-time All-Star and has racked up 9,181 career assists – the most among active players.

Unfortunately, it seems old age is caught up with the superstar, and while he is still very good in spurts, he is also objectively a shadow of his former self.

There are rumors that Chris Paul would like to play for a team other than the Oklahoma City Thunder, but we doubt that moving him will be easy because he has got a huge contract that is going to last till he is 36 years old.

Mind you, he has not been able to exceed the 61 games played plateau over the past three years – so durability is a serious issue with him.

If anyone does ultimately trade for him, it will likely be the Bucks, Timberwolves or Heat.

Milwaukee makes sense because it is a team on the cusp of an NBA Finals appearance and could use some veteran experience to push them over the top.

Minnesota is a squad on the come-up that desperately needs a real point guard to run the show. Paul could be an ideal mentor for Karl Anthony Towns.

Finally, Miami desperately needs to get Jimmy Butler some help to compete in the East. Paul and Butler could form a very formidable duo in the JV conference.

Who will the Thunder ultimately trade Paul to?

Time will tell.
