Danica Patrick Beach Photos Go Viral Ahead Of Bears Playoff Game
An interesting set of Danica Patrick Instagram photos went viral this week ahead of the Chicago Bears’ looming NFC Wild Card showdown against the New Orleans Saints.
Patrick, a lifelong Bears fan, was for a period of time closely linked to the Green Bay Packers due to her long-term relationship with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Despite this, her allegiance to her team never waivered.
“I’m still a Bears fan,” her father, T.J., said during an interview with Autoweek. “I’m always going to be a Bears fan. I can’t be a Packers fan. Danica is still a Bears fan, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be an Aaron Rodgers fan.”
Patrick and Rodgers ultimately split in 2020, for reasons that remain unclear. Some have suggested that actress Shailene Woodley was somehow involved, though neither party has ever officially commented on it.
This week, ahead of Chicago’s big postseason game, Patrick took a fun trip to the beach and shared her photos on Instagram.

Without Rodgers in her life to complicate her allegiances, it’s safe to assume that Patrick will be front and center on Sunday, rooting for her Bears to shock the world and give Drew Brees a one-way ticket to the broadcast booth.
Nobody is expecting much from Chicago this week. The team has beaten exactly one squad with an above-.500 record, and that was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in Week 5 with Nick Foles running the offense. Now Mitch Trubisky is front and center, and the Bears have consistently gotten wrecked by strong opposition with him leading the way.
That said, the beauty of the NFL postseason is that everyone has a chance. Wide receiver Allen Robinson said that much during a recent interview.
“Well, we got to the playoffs,” he pointed out to ESPN. “I think that’s everybody’s goal is to start there.
“I know it wasn’t a 12-4 season like we had a couple of years ago. I know last year we went 8-8 and didn’t get to the playoffs, and we went 8-8 again this year and we got to the playoffs. So again, we gave ourselves a shot.”
What will the Bears ultimately do with that shot? We’ll find out once and for all this weekend.
