More Troubling Zac Stacy Details Emerge Amid Video Leak

Troubling video of a woman allegedly getting assaulted by former NFL player Zac Stacy went viral on Wednesday evening.

In a series of clips posted to social media, Stacy appears to punch his ex-girlfriend in front of a 5-year-old child before brutally tossing her into a TV set and then smashing her through the youngster’s bouncy seat.

According to TMZ, the woman alerted authorities to what transpired immediately.

Video of the encounter speaks for itself:

“He punched me several times in the head. I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me,” the woman wrote in her restraining order application.

“He then picked me up and threw me into my TV. The TV began to fall and he turned to make sure I wasn’t getting up. As I laid on the floor he began to yell at me, telling me I’m destructive. He then picked me up off the floor and off my feet and body slammed me into our son’s bouncy seat.”

NFL players reacted swiftly to the video:

Stacy was drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft and played for the St. Louis Rams and New York Jets between 2013 and 2015. He then went on to play in the Canadian Football League.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first case of brutal violence involving NFL players in recent weeks. Stories like this, sadly, are becoming all too common.

Will Stacy ultimately go to prison for the acts depicted in that video? Time will tell.
