Mississippi State Star Brylie St. Clair’s Costume Photos Cause A Stir

Mississippi State softball star Brylie St. Clair has seen her profile grow exponentially over the past few months.

St. Clair, a senior, is currently batting .400 and is a big reason why her squad is 11-4 on the year.

The fact that she has a hit in almost every game this season has been instrumental to Mississippi State’s five-game winning streak.

This past week, due in no small part to St. Clair’s spectacular play, fans stumbled upon her social media accounts.

A couple of photos from a recent costume party in particular really captured their imaginations.

“So pretty,” one fan wrote.

“Love it,” a second person added.

“You are literally perfect,” a third person wrote.

While St. Clair’s 50,000+ followers across social media is obviously dwarfed by LSU star Olivia Dunne’s following, it’s also not fair to compare the two.

Yes, her bar-hopping photos with her teammates and hotel room photos nearly broke the internet – but that’s because Dunne is an aberration. Her massive fan base is the exception, not the rule.

By an average college athlete’s standards, St. Clair is doing exceptionally well. The great engagement she gets on posts is evidence enough of that.

Mississippi State is off to a great start in 2023.

St. Clair is undeniably a big reason why.

One of the key elements of an athlete crossing over into the mainstream larger cultural zeitgeist is them winning.

That is clearly a principle St. Clair internalized early. Will she and Mississippi State be able to win it all this year and officially establish themselves as the biggest stars in all of college sports? Time will tell.
