Mike Krzyzewski Issues Bold Statement After Duke Game
Mike Krzyzewski issued a bold statement after Duke’s game against NC State at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Just two weeks after the Wolfpack embarrassed the Blue Devils, Krzyzewski’s group got some measure of revenge with a big win.
Led by a combined 50-point and 16-rebound output from Cassius Stanley, Tre Jones and Vernon Carey, Duke looked fairly strong throughout.
Very much like the type of team people should be a little worried about come March Madness.
If anyone was doubting the Blue Devils following their back-to-back losses, they are not doubting them anymore.
Following the outing, Krzyzewski could be seen celebrating and high-fiving with his kids in the first row of the Cameron Crazies.
Speaking with the media after the game, Krzyzewski had a strong message for all his doubters and naysayers.
“I mean, you can question my coaching and what the hell — and then when you do question it, but the way, just come into Cameron and look up in the ceiling, and then find out if you should question that,” he said.
“But don’t do anything with our players. Just support ‘em.”
Clearly Krzyzewski and Co. are feeling strong and believe they have a ton of momentum heading into the NCAA Tournament. What the future holds for them once they get there remains to be seen.
Next up for Duke will be a game against North Carolina this coming Saturday.
