Michelle Beadle’s Wild Photos With Victor Wembanyama Go Viral

Michelle Beadle met with Victor Wembanyama this past week after the San Antonio Spurs selected him with the first overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Given Wembanyama’s unanimous status as a once-in-a-lifetime, generational talent – obviously everyone is very excited about what the future holds for him.

Even his sister went mega-viral after the draft because of how much hype there is surrounding him.

That said, it was Wembanyama’s chat with Beadle that captured a bunch of headlines this week.

Specifically, the visual of them and their size comparison.

The pair’s photos together really drove home two things.

The first is how massive Wembanyama is. It was basically the reverse of that one time when Bryce Young and Mina Kimes’ pictures together went viral.

“I’m 100% sure you didn’t need to lean in to shake his hand! He could’ve reached you just fine,” one fan wrote.

The second thing, however, was how Beadle’s arms almost looked more jacked than Wembanyama’s.

“Beads hasn’t skipped arm day,” one fan wrote.

“Ummm can we just talk about your arm fitness for a second,” a second person chimed in.

“Beads, you been in the lab,” a third person wrote.

“Looks like Beadle lifts more than Wemby,” a fourth fan noted.

The criticism seems somewhat fair. Wembanyama’s slim frame is a legit concern right now. Of course, it’s also worth remembering that Chet Holmgren came into the league extremely skinny, too. And over the past year he has put on major muscle.

Maybe the same will be true for Wembanyama.

Also, if the Spurs add a star alongside him the way they’re seemingly trying to, it could also alleviate some of the punishment he would be forced to take from opposing defenses come next year.

One way or another, the Victor Wembanyama Era promises to be a fascinating one.

Silly stuff like size comparisons with Michelle Beadle are fun offseason conversation topics. But they’ll die down when the new season commences. At that point, only Wembanyama’s on-the-court production will matter. Will he ultimately be able to live up to the hype? Time will tell.
