Michael Thomas Responds To Drew Brees’ Saints Decision
Michael Thomas responded to Drew Brees’ Saints return decision with the level of excitement most would expect from him.
On Tuesday morning, Brees formally announced that he would be returning to New Orleans for one more season.
Right around the Super Bowl, the future Hall of Famer pledged that he would take a month to examine his options and then inform everyone of his plans.
Surely enough, he did precisely that – with time to spare.
Erase Drew Brees please 🙂 https://t.co/2rgvYDe2N4

Following the Saints’ unfortunate defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Divisional Round, many wondered if Brees had one more run in him.
As it turns out, the answer to that is yes.
The person most excited for Brees to come back is Thomas. Together, the pair has formed one of the league’s most dynamic and potent offensive threats.
This past year, in large part thanks to Brees, Thomas amassed 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns on 149 catches.
“Erase Drew Brees,” Thomas tweeted out following Brees’ announcement.
There is a very good chance that this will be the 41-year-old Brees’ final year in the NFL, so it will be interesting to see if he can win one last Super Bowl a la Peyton Manning before hanging up his cleats.
