Michael Jordan celebrated his 60th birthday this past week in a fashion befitting the greatest basketball player of all time.
He started things off by contributing a record-breaking $10 million donation to Make-A-Wish America. The gift was the most the organization had ever received from a single person in its four-decade-long history.
“For the past 34 years, it’s been an honor to partner with Make-A-Wish and help bring a smile and happiness to so many kids,” Jordan said in a statement.
“Witnessing their strength and resilience during such a tough time in their lives has truly been an inspiration. I can’t think of a better birthday gift than seeing others join me in supporting Make-A-Wish so that every child can experience the magic of having their wish come true.”
Once that was out of the way, Jordan was ready to focus on himself a bit. He and his wife, Yvette Prieto, had a massive bash to celebrate the occasion.
Magic Johnson, one of Jordan’s close friends, shared video and photos of the big celebration on social media.

Jordan is generally a very private person, so it’s unclear how he will feel about his party photos and videos leaking out, but it is also something that is somewhat unavoidable in 2023.
Many were wondering whether Larsa Pippen, who is dating Jordan’s son right now, attended the bash. But thus far no images of the pair have emerged. And given how open they have been about getting intimate in public recently, if they were there, those photos would likely be out by now.
Also seemingly missing from the bash was Charles Barkley, who described in great detail not long ago the precise moment that led to the end of his friendship with Jordan.
It is similarly unclear whether R&B legend Mary J. Blige was there. She and Jordan famously got quite ‘friendly’ in a now-viral encounter not long ago, but haven’t been publicly spotted together since.

Based on all the videos and photos that have come out, it seems like Jordan’s party was one for the ages.
It is only fitting that the greatest player of all time also host the greatest 60th birthday party of all time.
Will more fresh imagery from the bash emerge? An answer one way or the other should come within the next 24 hours.
