Michael Jordan Loses Badly In Fishing Tournament

Michael Jordan made headlines not long ago after being pictured with a 442-pound blue marlin.

The seemingly massive haul by Jordan and his Catch 23 crew in the 62nd Annual Big Rock Tournament appeared to be a big deal at the time.

Unfortunately, over the past few days, Jordan and his crew slid down the leaderboard as other boats and teams pulled in larger marlins. Catch 23, conversely, peaked with their 442-pounder.

After initially landing in fifth place last week, Catch 23 ultimately finished in ninth.

There were 10 total participants.

The winning boat, Pelagic Hunter II, pulled in a 495.2-pound marlin. That ultimately beat out a 495-pounder pulled in by Sea Striker.

Fortunately, Jordan can still take solace in the fact that he is the greatest basketball player of all time. Plus, none of this really matters, as there is a good chance in two decades he will release a documentary claiming he won this tournament anyway.
