Miami Cheerleader’s Photos Cause A Stir At March Madness

A University of Miami cheerleader saw her photos cause a stir this week as the Hurricanes advanced in the NCAA Tournament.

Heading into March Madness, everyone felt like Miami had all the pieces necessary to be a strong team in he tourney. A seven-point victory over Drake in the opening round didn’t blow anyone away, but upsetting Indiana by 16 points in the second round certainly did.

Heading into Friday’s game against No. 1 ranked Houston, it is widely acknowledged that the Cougars are the favorites. That said, if the Hurricanes’ offense gets hot, even Houston’s defense may not be able to slow them down.

Miami’s players aren’t the only ones who have impressed so far in March Madness. The cheerleaders have also been quite strong. The school’s official social media account recently shared a photo that caused something of a stir.

Fans loved it, and some immediately began sleuthing online to find the personal account of the cheerleader featured. It didn’t take them long to discover it and blow up her posts.

This isn’t the first time in recent days a cheerleader has blown up online. Between the Tennessee dancer who went viral on Thursday and the UCLA cheerleaders who nearly melted the internet with their wild photos, it has been one thing after another on that front.

Big picture, Miami shoots nearly 37 percent from beyond the arc and 54.1 percent from inside the arc. If this group gets hot – they could get all the way to the Final Four in this bracket.

The team is that offensively skilled.

Will Miami be able to shock the world and legitimately compete for an NCAA Championship this year? One way or another, an answer will emerge in the coming days and weeks.
