A man with terrible decision-making skills allegedly attempted to rob one of the scariest mixed martial arts fighters on the planet this past week.
It did not end well for him.
On Tuesday, UFC star Derrick Lewis posted a video on Instagram in which he reportedly stopped an alleged car thief.
The thief in question was later apprehended by Houston police.

“Mofo pick right/wrong car to break into,” Lewis wrote on social media. “HE’S OK.”
In an accompanying video, the UFC heavyweight championship contender offered some additional context.
“Motherf*cker tried to break into my sh*t,” Lewis said.
This isn’t the first time a thief tangled with a UFC superstar.

A guy once tried to rob former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, only to meet the end of his shotgun in the process.
Lewis is expected to be next in line to face off against newly-crowned heavyweight champ, Francis Ngannou.
There was hope that Ngannou would take on Jones for the title, but ultimately the parties involved could not agree to terms.
Ngannou and Lewis fought for the first time at UFC 226 in July 2018. It was an extremely boring three-round affair that Lewis won by unanimous decision.
