Luka Doncic’s Haircut Photos Go Viral Amid Mavs Trade Rumors

Luka Doncic’s haircut photos went viral this week amid nonstop trade rumors surrounding him and the Dallas Mavericks.

Last season, fresh off an impressive Western Conference Finals run, expectations were sky-high for Doncic and the Mavs. He was viewed as the preseason MVP frontrunner in many circles and his squad was expected to finish top-four in the West.

Neither ended up happening.

Doncic wasn’t even in the running for MVP and Dallas failed to make the playoffs altogether.

This week, it seemed like Doncic’s unlucky streak was on the verge of continuing when photos of what looked to be a botched haircut began circulating online.

Folks were genuinely outraged. The reactions to Doncic’s presumed new look poured in immediately.

Fortunately, it turned out that the photo that went viral was simply one of Doncic mid-cut. The final product looked much better.

So that’s one Doncic-related crisis averted, but not the more pressing issue of where his team goes from here.

As a result of how bad things got at the end of the Mavs’ 2022-23 campaign, trade rumors intensified. Specifically, two teams were dubbed as ones to watch for a potential Doncic deal if he demands out.

The big question surrounding Dallas at the moment is whether Kyrie Irving will return. Obviously the front office acquired him at the NBA Trade Deadline last season with the intention of keeping him long-term.

But it genuinely seems like Irving’s eye is wandering elsewhere at the moment.

Without Irving, the Mavericks’ roster is going to look bare around Doncic.

And if he suffers another campaign like this most recent one, the trade rumors will only further intensify.

Will Doncic and the Mavs ultimately be able to right this ship in 2023-24? An answer one way or the other will emerge soon enough.
