Luka Doncic and his girlfriend Anamaria Goltes celebrated Valentine’s Day this past week.
The Dallas Mavericks star has obviously had something of a topsy-turvy run as far his professional life goes thus far in 2023. The acquisition of Kyrie Irving has led to a lot of scrutiny about Doncic’s role in the process and how the two men will fit alongside one another.
Two straight losses and their subsequent reactions to that further muddied the waters.
That said, while Doncic’s professional life is in a state of flux, his personal life seems to be as solid as ever.
This week photos came out of Doncic and Goltes showing how truly in love they are.

Obviously this isn’t the first time this pair has blown up online. Goltes’ very public messages to her beau and wild photos often make her a hot topic of conversation.
This past week saw numerous NBA couples celebrating Valentine’s Day in their own special ways. Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods had an intimate get-together. Kyle Kuzma and Winnie Harlow did the same. Ditto for Tyler Herro and Katya Elise Henry.
So of course it stands to reason that Doncic and Goltes would commemorate the occasion as well. Particularly given how in love they clearly are.

Romance with Goltes aside, it will be interesting to see how Doncic ultimately fares in the second half of the NBA season.
It doesn’t seem like the Mavericks’ roster will undergo any more serious tweaks at this point. Terrence Ross choosing to sign with the Phoenix Suns over them was a blow, as he was likely the most consequential player they were in the running for on the buyout market.

That means this team, as presently constructed, will be it for the duration.
Can Doncic get the Mavs back to the Western Conference Finals in 2023? Time will tell, but Goltes will undoubtedly be there cheering him on every step of the way.
