LSU vs Clemson Betting Line Shifts In Surprising Fashion

The LSU vs Clemson line shifted in surprising fashion this week.

Initially LSU opened up as a three-point favorite over the defending champs. Since then, the line has moved in a way nobody originally anticipated.

Ed Orgeron’s group now sits as a six-point favorite, with the National Championship game less than a week away.

While the line may seem large given how good Clemson has looked all season long, it is worth remembering that the same was said about the LSU-Oklahoma line.

And we all remember how that turned out.

LSU spanked Oklahoma to the tune of a 35-point win.

In a recent report, ESPN gambling analyst David Payne Purdum said that the majority of sportsbooks currently have LSU installed as a six-point favorite.

Barring something unimaginable happening, the money will likely continue coming in on LSU in the lead-up to Monday’s outing.

The over/under for the National Title game is set at 69.5, for now.

LSU and Clemson will duke it out on January 13 for all the marbles on ESPN.
