LSU vs Alabama Winner Is Obvious, Says Fox Sports

The LSU vs Alabama winner is obvious, says Fox Sports.

In a recent interview, Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt was asked for his thoughts on Nov. 9’s upcoming showdown between the two top ranked college football teams in the nation.

The bout, which is essentially for SEC supremacy, is arguably the most highly anticipated showdown between the Tigers and Crimson Tide in eight years.

According to Klatt, Alabama’s fate in this game relies almost exclusively on how quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is feeling.

If Tagovailoa is able to use this bye week to rest up and get as close as possible to 100 percent, Alabama has a decent shot. If not – then it’s all LSU.

“Everything has to do with Tua’s health,” Klatt said.

“The game plan does not change. You’re not going to have a different game plan for Tua than you would for (backup) Mac Jones because of the style of game that’s going to be,” he continued.

“I think Tua needs to be 100 percent because there’s a good chance LSU-Bama is going to turn into somewhat of a shootout, even more so than LSU-Auburn.

“Auburn’s defense has played more consistently and has more veterans than the Alabama defense. Alabama cannot run the football all that well…

“If Tua’s not healthy, I would lean toward LSU. All of this has to do with their quarterbacks’ health.”

Who will ultimately emerge victorious between LSU and Alabama? We’ll find out for sure in two weeks.
