LSU Is Not That Good, Says Colin Cowherd

LSU is really not that good, says Colin Cowherd.

Two weeks ago LSU shocked the country when they beat a tough Alabama team in impressive fashion.

Sure, the final score ended up being somewhat close – but the game was never really in any doubt.

The Tigers are undefeated on the season and have faced the toughest opponents of anyone in in the top six.

Is the LSU defense a little questionable?

Sure.

Does that make them any less terrifying to face off against?

Absolutely not.

Nevertheless, Cowherd does not appear to respect LSU all that much. While giving his top six this week, he placed the Tigers all the way at No. 3 – behind both Ohio State and Clemson.

Cowherd’s full top six is as follows: Ohio State, Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Oregon and Utah.

How and why do people keep ranking Ohio State and Clemson above LSU, when neither squad has anything even remotely matching the Tigers’ biggest wins of the year?

It is unclear. But Cowherd certainly isn’t alone in his assessment.

Will LSU finally earn some real respect this season? Only if they win the national championship.
