The Detroit Lions drafted Aidan Hutchinson with the second overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Given his storied Michigan career and the fact that he was a runner-up for the Heisman, expectations for his pro career are sky high.

Interestingly enough, though – Aidan’s skills aren’t the only reason why he has been in the headlines in recent weeks.

As it turns out, his mom Melissa has also made quite the impression on the football-watching world.

It all began on draft night, when fans were simply in awe of her. And the trend has continued through now, with her going absolutely mega-viral after being featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

As a result of her newfound fame, Melissa’s recent Instagram post at Lions camp set the internet ablaze:

Melissa currently boasts nearly 10,000 followers on the platform. Her posts routinely blow up for obvious reasons:

Big picture, as Aidan continues to establish himself as a star to watch in the NFL, Melissa’s profile will only grow from here. Moms of big stars have a way of building up their own brands in unique fashions.

We’ve seen it with New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson’s mom and her provocative ways. And we have also it seen it with Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic’s extremely young-looking mom, albeit in slightly different fashion.

Will Melissa join the Mom Hall of Fame alongside the other aforementioned ladies?

Time will tell.
