LeBron James gave Ohio State a gift before the Clemson game.

Heading into this weekend, the Buckeyes are preparing to play in their biggest contest of the college football season.

Although Ohio State has been arguably the best team in the nation all year long, the Tigers are the defending champions.

Ahead of the big showdown, James decided to send his favorite college football team a little surprise.

On Thursday night, the official Ohio State football Twitter account posted a video of James’ gift – Beats By Dre headphones for each member of the team.

“Best of luck men! You guys are here for a reason so just enjoy the moment and make the most of it! Don’t settle for nothing less than greatness! O-H….#GoBucks!” James wrote in a note to the Buckeyes.

A native of Akron, Ohio, James has been a longtime supporter of Ohio State sports. Come Saturday, he will no doubt be cheering his Buckeyes on as they attempt to secure a spot in the National Championship Game.
