Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss Steal Big Time Florida Recruit

Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss stole a big time Florida recruit this past week.

On Thursday night, it was revealed that Kiffin poached and flipped four-star wide receiver Marc Britt from Florida.

Britt announced on Twitter this past Thursday that he was decommitting from Florida, to whom he had been committed to since this past November, and joining the Rebels.

“Ole Miss I’m my way,” Britt tweeted out.

Britt is widely regarded as one of the best talents available in the 2020 class.

The youngster is ranked as the ninth best athlete in the class and the 44th best player out of the state of Florida.

Last April, Britt revealed a list of his top six teams that he was considering joining. Ole Miss was noticeably absent from that list. Of course, that was before the program went out and hired Kiffin away from FAU.

One of Kiffin’s biggest strengths has always been his recruiting prowess, so this latest move should come as no surprise.

Standing at six-foot-two and 190 pounds, Britt has all of the physical attributes necessary for success at the next level. It will be interesting to see what sort of impact the young star will ultimately have on the Rebels’ offense come next year.
